Indonesian Students Excel at AWMUN X, Showcasing Youth Leadership on Global Stage

At the Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) X held in Kuala Lumpur, eight exceptional students from Indonesia stood out among delegates from over 27 countries, winning awards that underscored their leadership, intellect, and diplomatic prowess.

The event brought together 258+ participants to simulate UN councils and deliberate on global issues. The Indonesian students rose to the challenge, earning distinctions in categories like Best Delegate and Most Outstanding Delegate.

Muhammad Fahrizal, President of the International Global Network (IGN), described their performance as “outstanding and deeply inspiring,” highlighting their readiness to engage with complex international topics.

The conference’s theme, “Navigating The Future: Shaping Our Role in the 5th Industrial Revolution,” required critical thinking and collaborative solutions—skills that the Indonesian team delivered with confidence.

With AWMUN officially recognized by Indonesia’s National Achievement Center (Puspresnas), the awards and certificates earned carry academic value and can strengthen university applications.

Fahrizal hopes that this achievement will pave the way for more young Indonesians to step beyond national borders and become agents of positive change.

The students came from schools across the country, proving that talent and ambition thrive in every corner of Indonesia.
