Strengthening the cohesiveness of employees in all subsidiaries was the main focus of PT Pupuk Indonesia’s Ramadan Safari 1445H. This activity is also a form of gratitude for the support of the community around the company.
President Director of Pupuk Indonesia, Rahmad Pribadi, visited five subsidiaries in the first and second ten days of Ramadan. The five subsidiaries are PT Pupuk Kujang Cikampek, PT Petrokimia Gresik, PT Pusri Palembang, PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, and PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda.
“This Ramadan Safari is a form of Pupuk Indonesia’s commitment to continue contributing to the independence of sustainable agriculture. This commitment cannot be separated from the support of the community around the company,” Rahmad said in a written statement, Tuesday (2/4).
Ramadan Safari is filled with various social activities, such as cheap markets, assistance for nursing homes, compensation for the poor and orphans, as well as assistance for mosques and musala.
In Pupuk Kujang, assistance was given to Pondok Tahfiz Nahrul Hayat from the donation of all employees coordinated by the Pupuk Kujang Workers Union. In Petrokimia Gresik, assistance was given to 1,000 TPQ teachers, rawatib imams, orphans, MSME players, and the surrounding community.
At Pusri Palembang, assistance was provided to 54 mosques and 27 musala, as well as food packages for orphanages, orphans, and the surrounding community. In Pupuk East Kalimantan, relocation and house renovation assistance was provided to flood-affected residents. In Pupuk Iskandar Muda, assistance was provided for orphans, the poor, mosques, and cheap markets.
Pupuk Indonesia also handed over 289 units of Simple Healthy Homes for the poor in Aceh.
