Apple CEO Tim Cook’s visit to Indonesia remains active following meetings with President Joko Widodo and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto. Amidst these engagements, Cook reveals additional plans in Indonesia. One of the highlights is the inauguration of the fourth Apple Developer Academy in Bali. This initiative signifies Apple’s deepened commitment to Indonesia and opens doors for aspiring individuals seeking careers in the iOS application industry. Preceding the Bali launch, Indonesia already hosts three Apple Developer Academies located in Batam, Surabaya, and Tangerang. “We are proud to announce the opening of our fourth Developer Academy, as revealed yesterday. This academy will be established in Bali,” Cook announced during his visit to the Presidential Palace on Wednesday (17/4/2024). Apple boasts the success of its existing academies, which have produced numerous graduates excelling in App Store application development. “We take pride in their achievements, having graduated thousands who have created App Store applications garnering acclaim both domestically and internationally. We are highly enthusiastic,” he emphasized. Cook also highlighted Indonesia’s immense potential and the diverse investment opportunities available. “I believe Indonesia holds tremendous investment prospects. There are many promising investment destinations, and we are investing in them. We have faith in this country,” he affirmed.
