Jakarta — PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PT PP) has clinched contracts totaling Rp11.23 trillion to undertake various projects in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) until March 2024. “The total contract value until March is approximately Rp11.23 trillion,” revealed Yul Ari Pramuraharjo, Director of Infrastructure Operations at PT PP (Persero) Tbk, during a press conference at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, held in Jakarta on Wednesday (24/4).
Yul Ari elaborated that the progress of IKN’s development varies considerably. He also expressed hopes of completing the infrastructure realization in the new capital before August 17.
“So far, the progress of IKN is still largely under construction. Among the ongoing projects, those slated for completion by August include the VVIP IKN airport, the 3B toll road, the West National Axis, the Mosque access road, and the 6C toll road,” Yul Ari stated.
Meanwhile, PT PP has already completed several work packages in the Core Government Center (KIPP) Areas I and II. “The latest completion is the infrastructure in Core Government Center (KIPP) areas one and two,” he explained.
Yuyus Juarsa, Director of Building Operations at PT PP (Persero) Tbk, added insights regarding the continuation of expansion in the new capital. “Regarding the projects we are working on, there’s the Presidential Palace, followed by ASN apartments, and also the Bank Indonesia office complex. Progress varies across these projects, with some at 20 percent completion, while others, expected to reach around 60 to 80 percent, are scheduled for August 2024,” Yuyus disclosed.
In a specific context, Basuki highlighted the development of the drinking water network in Nusantara IKN. He expressed hopes that the construction of this water facility would reach households and offices in IKN by June 2024.
Furthermore, based on Basuki’s presentation materials, there are two out of six priority development targets in the Directorate General of Housing this year. Firstly, it involves the construction of apartment units, including 2,585 units in IKN Nusantara. These units consist of 47 towers designated for Civil Servants (ASN) and Military/Police personnel relocating to the new capital in East Kalimantan. Secondly, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing aims to continue building ministerial residences for those relocating to IKN. Specifically, there are plans for 36 presidential assistant residences to be constructed.
